Behind the Scenes with WB Production

The WBF Online Awards 2025 have officially come to an end, marking another exciting chapter for the global bodypainting community -and for us at WB Production GmbH, the team behind the organization, coordination, and smooth execution of the entire event.

As the production company responsible for the Online Awards, our mission is to create a seamless and inspiring competition experience for artists, jury members, partners, and viewers around the world. This year, nearly 200 artists from more than 30 countries joined the digital stage to showcase their creativity across three categories: Facepainting, Brush & Sponge Bodypainting, and Airbrush Bodypainting.

What We Delivered in 2025

Behind every submission, every announcement, and every livestream moment is a long chain of coordinated tasks handled by our team. For the 2025 edition, WB Production was responsible for:

• Global communication & marketing
  Managing international outreach, promotion, and all digital advertising to ensure artists and audiences worldwide stay connected with the event.
• Artist management & registration
  Providing support throughout the registration process and guiding participants through the Online Award system.
• Development & administration of the upload platform
  Maintaining the online tool that allows artists to securely submit their images and materials for judging.
• Jury coordination
  Organizing the schedules and evaluation workflow for our professional jury panel, ensuring a fair and efficient judging process.
• Data handling & result processing
  Collecting, verifying, and compiling all jury scores to determine the official results.
• Post-event editorial coverage
  Preparing articles, highlight summaries, and winner announcements for the official WBF channels.
• Production of the official YouTube Livestream
  Planning and executing the live Award Show on November 22, including all technical and editorial aspects.

A Global Celebration of Art

This year’s Online Awards once again demonstrated the immense talent within the international face- and bodypainting community. From powerful themes such as “Sacred Faces,” “Freedom vs. Control,” and “What Money Should Buy,” artists delivered breathtaking creativity and deeply meaningful interpretations.

It was an honor for us to support this artistic journey from behind the scenes and to help present these incredible works to a global audience.

Looking Ahead to 2026

While the WBF Online Awards 2025 have concluded, our team at WB Production is already preparing for the next edition in 2026. New improvements, enhanced tools, and upgraded production workflows are underway to make the Online Awards even more accessible, user-friendly, and inspiring.
